So Much FUN!

After playing on the slide from 1:30 - 7:30 we came in and put the kids to bed so we could play Rock Band!! Here were are rocking out to Metallica - Sandman. Yes I am the singer - and if you know me you can probably guess it didn't sound pretty! But it was a lot of fun! Our band was named Scabby Nipples in honor of Rich - who had scabby nipples from his 13 mile run a few days before!
We didn't want to stop partying to eat dinner - so we ordered pizza and had it delivered to our backyard. After a lot of persuasion, the pizza boy declined taking a turn on the slide, even though you could tell he really wanted to try it.

Sliding down together into the freezing cold water!

Everyone lounging and enjoying the sun/shade and being together. Even though we moved over a year ago, we have kept in touch and it still feels very comfortable and smooth when we get together. I have the greatest friends!!

Although not pictured, The Scabby Nips also performed Bon Jovi "Wanted Dead or Alive" with me on guest lead vocals. Even though I nailed every word, it was a bit pitchy until I went into an ad-lib scabby impromptu, featuring the word "scabby", which as judged by Rock Band was "awesome".

I just about died laughing when I read this post. Do you guys watch "The Office"?

There is a whole episode about a Fun Run. And one of the guys participating tapes guaze pads on to prevent "nipple-chafing". So poking through his t-shirt are these sqaures of guaze. And it just gets funnier from there.

You can log on to NBC and watch it online. I think you would enjoy it.

What a party house. Sounds like such a great time getting together with friends.
I saw your comment on my blog and I am sure you will have fun on your race at the end of the month. I really do love the 1/2 marathons because they are challenging, but so much fun. At the last one they handed out gummy bears and they tasted awesome. I am a big fan of them now and think they should be included in all runs.
Good luck with the training, it is the longest part!
